Five Months and .....

.... Some success!!  As of today, I stand at a nice 133 lbs.!  Now, will I at least be able to grasp another two- four pounds from the "food fairy"?  Stay tuned..... Oh yes!  Please forward all of the recipes that you can-- healthy, but thickening!  Thanks!

The Big "Let Down"!!

Well, April 12th came and went, so I weighed myself on April 20th---hoping for a damn miracle!  As soon as I moved the weight block to 130, I was doomed!  No cigar!  The weight block dropped to the bottom! What made matters worse is that two days prior, I cheated and weighed myself at the gym----their scale read "131 lbs."!  What the hell happened????

I tell you what it was!  It was the damn stress at the freakin' job!  Well, anyway, the only weight that was recorded on April 20th was 128 lbs....Yep, I dropped three pounds in just a few days.  Needless to say, I am not a happy camper!!!  Back to the freakin' drawing board!!!

Oh yeah, keep the recipes coming!!

Salad: Friend or Foe??

Aaahhhh, how I love a good Wendy's salad!  There is just one thing:  For health reasons, this salad could be my best friend; however, in trying to gain weight, this salad could be the foe that will send me below my desired weight goal!  I have to have it though!   It just keeps calling, and calling, and calling, and calling, and calling me!

C'mon Pounds!!!





mms_picture.jpgWell now, this is a big start.  How many calories are here, I don't know. I  just know that I  will be weighing myself on Tuesday, April 12th-- let's see what I get! OH PLEASE LET ME TILT THE SCALE AT 130 lbs. (minimum)!!

Oh yeah! Today's breakfast consists of turkey links (6), orange juice, Boost, one bagel, one blueberry muffin, and scrambled eggs! Yum!

Pants on the Ground!

"Pants on the ground, pants on the ground, lookin' like a fool with your pants on the ground...."  Now when an old man sang this original song during an American Idol audition approx. two years ago, I never thought that it would somehow directly connect to me.  Guess what though?  I put on a pair of pants today, and Lawd how they were so big in the waist that they were indeed falling towards the top of my hump!  I grabbed a belt and cinched it tight enough to cause ripples in the waistband!  Yes folks, this is how it is to be in need of some serious feed!!

By the way, thus far today, I have eaten oatmeal, a Wendy's BLT Cobb salad, Wendy's french fries (small), and a McDonald's Filet-O-Fish sandwich.  As far as beverages go, a McDonald's strawberry banana smoothie was it.  The day is young, and I still have far to go!

Will I ever reach my goal?! Geesh!!

Calling All Chefs!!

Okay people.  Yesterday, I had turkey sausage patties for breakfast; I had one filet-o-fish sandwich for lunch; and I had black beans and rice (two fist fulls), caramelized plantains (5), a small salad, a half pattie of shrimp egg foo young, and a chocolate donut for snack. 

This morning, I feel a bit heavier, but who knows what is going on with my magical metabolism.  I am off to WaWa for a large egg and sauteed onion sub sandwich!  Let the battle to gain weight continue!

So Far, No Gain

Now, I know it has only been a day since I have requested recipes to fatten me up, but thus far nothing has been received.  Don't worry, I have started my version of "pigging out".  The dismal part is that I don't feel like a pig yet.  I don't even feel like a piglet!  Someone pass the plates, and keep them coming!  (smile)
